Bingo Tips for Beginners

Learning how to play bingo is quite simple. It doesn't require a lot of tricks and tactics. Also, winning the game is not as difficult as in other gambling games, particularly those played in casinos. Unlike card games that use a deck of cards, playing bingo does not require being memorizing the suits or which card has a higher value than which. This is probably the reason that bingo gained popularity not just in the US but all over the world.

Bingo is generally a game of luck. If your bingo card happens to have the numbers drawn by the machine, and the numbers are arranged in a winning sequence, then you win the game.

But even if bingo relies mostly on luck and is usually just played for fun, there are some tips that you can keep in mind while learning to play the game.

The very first tip, and one of the most important, is that never play a lot of cards. To many bingo cards will be difficult to watch. Imagine having to scan each card as each number is drawn and doing this as fast as possible in order not to miss out on any number. Too many cards will not make you win the game, but it can decrease your chances of winning.

To increase of chances in winning at bingo, try playing on weeknights. The crowd is usually less on these nights than on weekends. With less cards being played during the bingo game, and with you having three cards, your chances of winning will increase.

Use your dabber lightly. Banging your dabber while using it to mark the number on your bingo card may cause it to leak.

Don't yell out the number that your bingo card needs. Also, refrain from complaining about lousy numbers if numbers which are not on you bingo cards are drawn. This can be annoying to the people around you.

Use two different colors of dabber when playing bingo. In case you marked an incorrect number on your bingo card, cover it up properly so you wouldn't get yourself confused. Using a dabber of a different color can do the trick for you. Two dabbers colors are also better when playing bingo games such as odd-even. It will make it easier for the caller to check your bingo card.

Lastly, if you won, learn to share your winnings. You may share a dollar with the people around you. Who knows, the might win with the dollar you shared.
